Tottenham have been active in the transfer window

Tottenham have done some smart business so far this season, making additions in midfield, upfront and out wide with the acquisitions of Archie Gray, Dominic Solanke and Wilson Odobert.

In addition, Spurs have also secured the services of Korean starlet Yang Min-hyuk, who will link with the squad in January of 2025, while Lucas Bergvall, who they struck a deal for in January of this year, has also arrived through the door.

It was reported by O’Keefe over the weekend that the Lilywhites still wish to make more signings, with a midfielder and a defender said to be on the club’s agenda.

Tottenham want to sign a new goalkeeper

The Spurs insider has now provided another update, revealing that Ange Postecoglou’s men also want to bring a goalkeeper through the door.

He added that Fiorentina starlet Tommaso Martinelli is one shot-stopper who has caught the North London club’s eye.

With Fraser Forster returning from a long-term injury layoff and now into the final year of his contract, it is understandable why the club would want to future-proof the goalkeeping position.

Spurs will likely want to sign a young goalkeeper who can serve as the third choice this season before becoming Vicario’s understudy once Forster departs.
