Great Escape Oktoberfest begins August 24

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Oktoberfest returns to Six Flags Great Escape for five weekends starting August 24. German-inspired cuisines like bratwurst, kielbasa, pierogis, and German potato salad will be offered, as well as giant pretzels with beer cheese and mixed berry strudel for snack cravings.

Local craft beer and cider will be offered with festive games and photo ops. Traditional live music at the Fest Area stage with themed decor and more family fun will take place at the seasonal favorite.

The five-weekend event will run until September 22.
