‘I’ll never watch again’ say Coronation Street viewers as they make huge demand to ITV bosses
CORONATION Street viewers have issued a major demand to soap bosses after Joel Deering was finally exposed for his horrific crimes.
The sly solicitor saw his lies unravel in spectacular fashion as his fiance Dee-Dee Bailey discovered the truth about Joel being the father of Lauren’s son, Frankie.
She further discovered that Joel was the one who brutally attacked Lauren as she finally realised the terrifying links to expose him as an abuser and a groomer.
In a bombshell twist, Joel overheard their conversation and in a bid to beat them too it, he ran to the Police first to tell them lies about Lauren to put himself in a better light.
Whilst he was forced to admit to a sexual relationship with the teen, Joel lied that Lauren sourced illegal abortion pills in order to get rid of the baby.
It led to a furious showdown in the police station as Joel was arrested whilst Lauren was taken for further questioning regarding his claims.
Coronation Street viewers have now been left issuing a big plea to bosses and have threatened to switch off if it is not met.
They are demanding that Joel finally gets his comeuppance for his wicked ways and face justice after the programme hinted that his lies could mean he gets away with it after all.
Writing on X – formerly Twitter – one viewer penned: “If Joel talks his way out of this, I’ll never watch #Corrie again.”
As another echoed: “I can’t deal with any injustice before justice prevails. It’s taking me back to Kirsty with Tyrone and that was too stressful.
“Take Joel down now!”
During last night’s episode, Joel’s fiance Dee-Dee finally found the missing piece to the puzzle and put everything that he’d done together.
Viewers were left on the edge of their seats as they claimed the episode was one of the soap’s best instalments of the whole year.
Heralding the under-fire show, one fan penned: “One of the BEST episodes ever From start to Finish can’t wait to see what happens next and the downfall of Joel.”
