TV star reveals she was asked out on a date at her husband’s FUNERAL
CELEBRITY psychic Sally Morgan recently shared a shocking personal revelation.
During an interview, Sally disclosed that she was asked out on a date at the funeral of her late husband.
Sally was left stunned by the unexpected and inappropriate advance.
Recalling the moment, she exclaimed, “One of the men at John’s funeral asked me on a date!”
The audacity of the situation left her in disbelief, as it occurred at a time when she was grieving the loss of her partner of many years.
John Morgan, Sally’s beloved husband, passed away after a battle with Coronavirus.
The couple were married for nearly five decades, and John was not only her partner in life, but also a significant source of support in her career.
Sally was left devastated by his passing, and took to social media with an emotional message.
It read: “On behalf of Sally Morgan and Family,
“It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of John Morgan, after a short battle with Coronavirus.
“Sally would like to thank the amazing NHS and the incredible Doctors and Nurses at East Surrey Hospital for their outstanding work, love and compassion throughout everything.
“John was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be missed greatly.”
Despite being appalled that someone had asked her on a date at John’s funeral, Sally has now revealed that she is ready to find love again.
During her interview on the Suddenly Single podcast, Sally shared: “We were married for 49 years…. We were like one person…I talk to John all the time and I say: I don’t think I can be alone for the rest of my life – no matter how long or short that may be.
“There is no way I am going to replace John. I have no intention of doing that. But it would be nice to have a man I imagine John looking at and laughing thinking: ‘How different to me is that!’
“John died – and people are terrified (to date me). He was the love of my life, and he will always be the love of my life.’”
Sally Morgan is known for being a professional medium who often appears on TV and in live shows.
She made it to the final of Celebrity Big Brother 2018 and finished in 5th place.
