Grave of the Fireflies: Studio Ghibli’s film release date, where to watch, regional availability and plot

Netflix will stream Studio Ghibli’s Grave of the Fireflies from September 16, available in over 190 countries, excluding Japan. The film, based on Akiyuki Nosaka’s story, depicts the struggles of war orphans in Kobe during World War Two. Directed by Isao Takahata, it originally premiered in 1988.
