However, before he has even stepped foot on the dancefloor, he has become embroiled in a fix row.

It started after it came to light owe JB previously appeared on – and won – the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special in 2012, where he was partnered with pro Ola Jordan.

However, he now wants to put any rumours that he is a “trained dancer” to bed.

While speaking to MailOnline about his dancer wife Chloe‘s reaction to his Strictly news, JB explained: “She’s can’t wait to offer advice which I’m very grateful for because I’m not a trained dancer.

“I’ll be able to hear from her and work alongside my pro with. She can’t wait for the journey to start just like I am.”

Also in 2017, JB appeared alongside Chloe in ITV show Dance Dance Dance, with the couple finishing up in third place.

Meanwhile, after being announced as being part of the Strictly 2024 line-up, the Beat Again singer said: “I danced in the Strictly Christmas special over a decade ago and loved it, so when I got the call to join Strictly this year, it was an immediate yes from me.

“I’m raring to go to and looking forward to showing off some new skills to the JLS boys.

“From muddy wellies on the fields of my farm to sequins and Glitterballs – I’m here to embrace it all!”

JB shot to fame on The X Factor in 2008.

The band made it all the way to the final, but missed out on the number one spot to Alexandra Burke.

JLS consists of JB, Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and Marvin Humes.

After huge success the band split in 2013, but reunited in 2020.

They are best known for songs such as Everybody In Love, One Shot, The Club Is Alive, Beat Again, Eyes Wide Shut and She Makes Me Wanna.
