Longtime civil rights activist Dr. Alice Green passes away
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A long-time community activist has passed away. Sources tell NEWS10 that Dr. Alice Green has died.
Green spent her life fighting for equality in the justice system and civil rights. She was born in South Carolina and moved to the Adirondacks as a young girl.
She earned three master's degrees as well as a doctorate in criminal justice. Green founded the Center for Law and Justice in 1985.
