'Chaos, Destruction, Riots and Death': Trump gives horrific description of major U.S. ally
Former President Donald Trump suggested on Truth Social that the streets of the United Kingdom were replete with death and destruction — and a Kamala Harris presidency would give the U.S. the same fate.
Moments after GOP defectors told Democrats in Chicago why they're voting for Democratic presidential nominee Harris over Trump, the MAGA leader bashed his opponent in a Truth Social screed.
"Kamala Harris supports the Environmental Extremists’ 'NET-ZERO' Energy Policy - A Radical Left Agenda to abolish Coal, Oil, and Natural Gas, and plunge MILLIONS into Poverty," he said, in his signature mixing of upper and lowercase font.
Trump then blamed net-zero "lunatics" for "currently destroying the Economies of many other Countries, including the U.K."
"Their Radical, Self-Destructive Policy has led the U.K. to the Worst Economic Growth since 1780, now causing Economic Chaos, Destruction, Riots, and Death in the streets of British Cities," he said.
The term net zero often refers to a goal of negating the amount of greenhouse gases produced by humans.

While the United Kingdom has in recent weeks faced clashes between right-wing rioters and police officers across the country — with protesters throwing bricks and even petrol explosives — those protests were not related to energy policy.
They were reportedly fueled by right-wing misinformation after three young girls were killed in a stabbing attack that left several others wounded.
It wasn't immediately clear if those are the same riots Trump is referring to.
Even so, Trump insisted that in the United States, net zero "fanatics like Kamala Harris want to shut down Power Plants, even as the cost of Energy and Electricity is up 30 to 50% and climbing."
He promised to assuage concerns of rampant energy rises, however, as long as voters elect him.
"NOT IF I’M PRESIDENT! I will cut your Energy costs in HALF, and Net Zero will be DEAD on Day One!"
