Double bankrupt Katie Price slammed by fans after ‘charging them’ for VIP content but failing to deliver

KATIE Price fans are feeling a little short-changed as her podcast goes on its ‘summer break’.

The troubled star has been maintaining a weekly podcast alongside her sister, Sophie, with the pair sharing gossip from each week as well as life advice and stories from Katie’s world.

Last week, the pair announced that they would be going on a ‘summer break’, telling fans on Instagram: “Thank you all for your continued support for the show and for us. We really appreciate it.

“You can still catch up on all our episodes wherever you get your podcasts – and you can still watch all our episodes too. We’ll post on here when we’re back x”

“What about subscriptions?!” asked one frustrated fan, prompting a second person to jab: “Prob be best to cancel as they will clearly pocket the cash.”

The Katie Price VIP package is available to fans for £4.99 a month on a rolling contract, offering ad-free episodes, exclusive bonus ‘chaos and gossip’ content and discounts to their live shows.

You can also watch video versions of the episodes in full.

“We want to exclusively welcome you to our VIP area – sit back and relax because trust us it will get interesting!” the site reads.

“Remember… Never Underestimate The Pricey! x”

However, the last bonus show – a 20-minute episode titled ‘Bringing Back Jordan?!’ was published at the end of July.

The Sun has contacted Katie’s reps for comment and clarification about whether fans will receive their money back.

Katie and Sophie officially announced their break from the podcast on August 13 – four days after Katie arrived back from Turkey after getting a new facelift.

The ex-glamour girl is battling a £760,000 unpaid tax bill after being declared bankrupt for a second time in March.

The star was detained on her arrival at Heathrow Airport for failing to appear at a bankruptcy hearing that was scheduled for the same day she flew out of the country.

As a result, the judge issued a warrant for her arrest, and Katie faced the courts shortly after her arrival home.

Informing her of the next date on August 27, Judge Schaffer told the mum-of-five she must attend court and provide documents when asked.

He said: “These are undertakings to the court, meaning if you breach the undertakings in any way, shape or form, you will be brought back into custody.

“It is quite a serious matter.”

Price confirmed that she understood that she must attend and later added: “I will move my diary for it.”

However, on August 19 she failed to attend another hearing, where it was ruled she faces having to pay back almost £40,000 she made on TikTok.

At the hearing, it was revealed Katie made almost £95,000 on TikTok between March and May this year alone.

An order was granted that meant Katie’s income was suspended, with the reality star being required to pay trustees 40 per cent of the earnings from videos.

The suspension was granted by Judge Catherine Burton, who remarked she was “concerned” after Price failed to attend.
