Carrie Underwood Confirmed to Sing 'Sunday Night Football' Theme for 12th Year in a Row!

Carrie Underwood is confirmed to return to her position as the singer of the Sunday Night Football intro song for the 12th year in a row!

If you don’t know, Football Night in America airs on Sunday evenings during the NFL season, with a game airing at 8:20 pm every week. Carrie has provided the vocals to “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” but there have been changes and tweaks the last few years.

The NFL confirmed today, “”It’s a road show like no other! ???? Carrie Underwood stars in her 12th consecutive show open for Sunday Night Football beginning September 8 on NBC and Peacock.”

The NFL season officially kicks off on Thursday (September 5) with a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. The first football Sunday is September 8, with a SNF game between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions.
