Man hospitalized after motorcycle crash in Emporia
EMPORIA (KSNT) - A 22-year-old man was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries after a motorcycle crash in Emporia on Tuesday.
At 5:10 p.m., Emporia police officers were called to the 10 block of South State Street. Officers found a 22-year-old man had been riding a 2017 Honda Rebel, lost control, hit a curb and then went into a private driveway before striking a parked van.
According to a press release from the City of Emporia, the 22-year-old wasn't licensed to drive a motorcycle and wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
