Warren Co. hosts senior picnic in Warrensburg

WARRENSBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Warren County is holding its annual senior picnic at the Warren County Fish Hatchery on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Tickets are $5 for the day of food, games, raffles, and more.

Warren and Hamilton Counties Office for the Aging are collaborating on the annual picnic to offer blood pressure checks and other health-related giveaways and information. The hatchery will tour the Warren County Department of Parks and Recreation trout-rearing facility or participate in disc golf and walking trails.

The festivities start at 10 a.m. with coffee, tea, and light refreshments before lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, macaroni salad, watermelon, and strawberry shortcake is served at noon. Tickets can be purchased at any senior meal site in Warren or Hamilton counties and the Warren County Office of the Aging before Friday, Sept. 13.
