FORECAST DISCUSSION:

This afternoon plenty of sunshine will continue around central Ohio. A few areas will see a few more clouds than other by the early evening. Temperatures are only going to reach the low-mid 70s for the daytime high.

Later this evening for those heading to the Crew match, or any other outdoor activity, temperatures will cool down fairly quickly. We'll already be in the 60s by 8 o'clock. Most skies will be clear by then.

Overnight will be very cool, and maybe a bit chilly for some. Lows for most of the area will drop close to the 50 degree mark. Winds will become very light. Skies are expected to stay mostly clear.

Tomorrow is expected to finally break the 80 degree mark for the high in Columbus. High pressure will continue to move into the area. Along with it is comes a warmer air mass that is going to settle over much of the country. This will be the last day of below average temperatures for a while.

A summerlike warm up will return by this upcoming Friday and will last through the weekend and a little beyond. The jet stream will lift well to the north brining us into the 90s. This will last close to the middle of next week. Central Ohio will see next to zero chances for rain over the next seven days.
