Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo Talk Power of Friendship In New 'Wicked' Teaser - Watch Now!

A brand new featurette and poster for the upcoming Wicked movie just dropped!

On the poster, stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo can be seen holding hands and looking at each other, with Oz and Shiz University in the background.

In the new video teaser, the pair, along with director Jon M Chu and co-star Jonathan Bailey, talk about the characters bond and the power of friendship, while also showing a bit more footage from the highly-anticipated movie musical.

“Wicked to me, at its very core, is about friendship,” Jon says. “And it starts with a really fun look at how these two young women were so different from each other, are forced to be roommates and don’t get along at all.”

“These two very different women just fall completely in love with each other,” Ariana adds. “And that is mirrored experience of what happened with Cynthia and I.”

Cynthia continues, “We just sort of… I got chills. We both just like found each other, I guess… We just got each other immediately.”
