Onion crosses ₹50/kg in metros, non-veg thali price falls 25%

Prices of key vegetarian items have surged, with onions now costing more than ₹50 per kg, an increase of 25% due to rising consumption post-Shravan. Wheat prices rose to ₹27-28 per kg with approaching festivals. Conversely, chicken prices have dropped by 10% to ₹84 per kg due to reduced demand.
