Angel Reese Debuts Apparel Collection With Reese’s

WNBA All-Star Angel Reese is teaming up with the iconic candy of her same name, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, for a once-in-a-lifetime endorsement deal.

Reese and Reese’s dropped the first of three AngelxReese’s collections on Wednesday on TheAngelReese.com which features eight “Pieces” in both white and beige, including T-shirts, hoodies, and hats. Reese’s pieces are all emblazoned with the iconic Reese’s logo above a similarly styled “Angel” insignia.

Crop tops and baseball caps go for $39, while T-shirts retail for $49 and hoodies for $79. The crop tops and shirts are both made with combed cotton, while the hoodies are an 80–20 cotton–recycled polyester blend. The front of the pre-curved baseball caps are made of 65 percent polyester and 35 cotton, while the mesh backing is 100 percent polyester.

“The fans really made this happen,” Reese said in a press release (via Boardroom.tv). “This collection is for my Reese’s Pieces,” she said of her fans, “who’ve been with me every step of the way.”

Reese first called her fans by the nickname back in June, following weeks of them referring to each other by the fitting moniker. “Reese’s pieces where y’all at???” Reese tweeted on June 25. Fans began calling upon Reese’s to collaborate with the star rookie, and a few days later the brand posted a winking response.

“Where are we? Just following our favorite player,” the post read.

“The connection between my name and the Reese’s brand was obvious, but it went deeper than that,” Reese explained. “My fans started calling themselves ‘Reese’s Pieces,’ and after I kept seeing it on social, I started engaging with some of my fans about it.”

Reese teased the collaboration by lacing up in a pair of custom Reeboks designed by artist Marvin Baroota featuring the “Reese’s/Angel” insignia and a cartoon of a large Reese’s Cup oozing peanut butter. The custom creation was a perfect fusion between Reese’s lucrative endorsement with Reese’s and Reebok, with whom she recently signed a legendary NIL deal and debuted a separate line of apparel.

The upcoming apparel drop will include a jersey, while the last will be another eight-piece collection featuring the brand’s Reese’s Cup logo.

“I wanted to deliver something that they could proudly wear this season,” Reese said of the first collection. “We worked as quickly as possible with Reese’s to build a collection that really reflected who I am—bold, vibrant, and unapologetically me.”
