Secret Netflix ‘freebie’ perk missed by millions adding two new items – exact dates to claim them on your TV or phone

Users can unlock dozens of mobile games through the aptly-named Netflix Games app, which adds new content every month.

Netflix Games is included with your subscription and has no in-app purchases or hidden fees.

A handful of new games is slated to arrive later this year, exclusively on the platform. This included two highly anticipated titles that were unveiled yesterday at Gamescom 2024.

Per the announcement, Squid Game: Unleashed and Monument Valley 3 will debut at the end of the year.

Monument Valley 3 is the latest installment in a much-loved puzzle game franchise.

Players must lead a faceless princess character through mazes of optical illusions while manipulating the world around her.

The game will be available on December 10, with Netflix promising players an enhanced level of storytelling.

The Squid Game spinoff doesn’t have a conclusive release date, but insiders suspect it will launch around the same time.

The hit show’s second season is coming to Netflix on December 26, so the mobile game could arrive that week or earlier to drum up anticipation.

While details remain under wraps, Netflix has shared some information about the game.

It is under development by Boss Fight Entertainment, one of three studios Netflix snapped in 2022.

The game will support 32 players at once, making them battle in a last-man-standing mode that mirrors the wildly popular series.

The new arrivals will be available exclusively through Netflix Games – and it’s easy to take advantage of the hidden perk.

Simply download the Netflix app on your mobile device and sign in. Next, scroll to the Netflix Games section.

Find a game you’d like to play and click its title. This launches the Netflix Games page.

After clicking “Get Game,” either the Apple app store or Google Play will open, where you can complete the download process.

Netflix unveiled other titles that are now available or set to debut in the coming weeks.

Ludo King: Netflix and Diner Out are both available starting this week. Snake.io will arrive on August 27, while Battleship will drop on September 10.

Other games joining Netflix’s ever-expanding library include the first two Monument Valley installments on September 19 and October 29, respectively.

Meanwhile, RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch – a mobile version of the popular construction game – will arrive on October 8.
