Scott: We're In A Good Place

Grant Scott is “delighted” his side have once more picked up three points while keeping another clean sheet.

Linzi Taylor and Eilidh Adams doubles put the girls four goals to the good by half-time at a rainsoaked Meadowbank.

Just before the break, Mya Christie thrashed in a fifth from outside the box before Kathleen McGovern added a sixth deep into the second half.

“We’re in a good place at the moment,” Scott told Hibs TV.

“The team looked very comfortable again tonight. We made a few changes, rested a few players and made substitutions.

“I'm delighted with the clean sheet again and another three points.”

Scott was full of praise for Linzi Taylor - who nabbed two goals in her first Hibs start - and admitted how much he coveted the midfielder last season.

“She played against us last year in that [advanced] role.

"If I’m being honest, she crucified us at times in a couple of matches.

“We were very keen on bringing her to the club. You seen tonight what she can offer.

"She’s had to bide her time and has given us a proper headache as well.

“I’m delighted for her. She’s came in and applied herself really, really well. She’s a great character to have in the team.”
