Tim Walz's family sobs as he takes the stage at DNC
An emotional Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz stepped up to the podium at the Democratic National Convention and tried to hold back tears as his wife and two children sobbed in the audience.
Walz's wife, Gwen, his son, Gus, and daughter, Hope, cried as a video played just before the governor stepped out onto the stage on Wednesday night.
From the lectern, Walz thanked Kamala Harris for putting her trust in him and thanked President Joe Biden for the last four years.
