Govt can collect caste-wise data of OBCs by adding extra column in Census questionnaire: Congress

The Congress suggested that the government incorporate OBC caste data in the next Census by simply adding an additional column. The party noted that Census data on SCs and STs has been collected since 1951. Congress highlighted the delay in conducting the 2021 Census and its impact on economic planning and social justice programmes.
