HS: Centre gains as Finns Party and National Coalition lose support
THE APPROVAL RATINGS of Finland’s three largest parties have stayed largely unchanged over the past month, indicates an opinion poll conducted for Helsingin Sanomat by Verian.
The Social Democratic Party took sole control of the top spot as popular support for the largest opposition party crept up by 0.9 percentage points to 20.9 per cent. The National Coalition and Finns Party, the two largest members of the ruling four-party coalition, both registered a drop of 0.6 points in popular support, the former to 20.2 and the latter to 15.0 per cent.
