Floods maroon many people in Bangladesh, India and cause at least 15 deaths

Floods have stranded hundreds of thousands in India's northeast and eastern Bangladesh, with at least 15 deaths reported. Heavy rains in Tripura forced school closures and led to more than 300 relief camps for the displaced. Both countries are conducting rescue operations amid criticisms and challenges.
