'DWTS' Casts Stephen Nedoroscik (aka 'Pommel Horse Guy') as First Celebrity Contestant for Season 33!

Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, aka “pommel horse guy,” is the first celebrity confirmed for Dancing with the Stars season 33, airing this fall on ABC!

The 25-year-old bronze medalist helped Team USA Men’s Gymnastics win bronze, and then he went on to compete in his specialty, pommel horse, to win an individual bronze medal as well.

Now, in an appearance on GMA, he confirmed his participation!

“I’m very excited,” he said on the air, adding he said “yes” right away when asked to compete.

Stephen went viral while waiting to perform his pommel horse routine early on in the Olympic games. He was seen in a zen-like moment on camera, waiting hours to perform his specialty. He earned a LOT of fans on social media.
