Report: Multiple Premier League clubs chasing late deal for Spurs player
Barca Times reporter Shay Lugassi has revealed that multiple Premier League clubs are now showing interest in signing Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the dying stages of the window.
Spurs do not need Manor Solomon
It has been widely reported that Solomon is now surplus to requirements for Ange Postecoglou at Spurs, with various outlets suggesting that the Lilywhites want to loan out the winger, who they signed on a free transfer last summer (The Times).
Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe revealed on Thursday afternoon that the Israel international is attracting interest from Spain as well as from Leeds, adding that the player wants to remain in the Premier League.
Premier League clubs are chasing Manor Solomon
Lugassi has now also backed up the information regarding Solomon’s desire to remain in the Premier League, also revealing that two top-flight clubs are now currently interested in the player.
The journalist names Getafe as the Spanish club who have made a move for the Tottenham man, adding that the wide-man is also on the radars of Italian and German clubs.
He tweeted: ‘Manor Solomon received an offer from Getafe. Leeds United also showed interest. There is also interest from 2 Primer League clubs + clubs from Italy and Germany.
‘The player’s priority right now is to stay in England. Solomon is expected to leave Tottenham on loan this summer.’
Spurs Web Opinion
It is not surprising to see Solomon generating so much interest, given that he is available on loan.
It will be interesting to see how the winger does for a Premier League side if he can stay fit through the season.
