THE LOWDOWN
We return to league duty this weekend as we take on Dundee; kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 24 August.
David Gray’s side will be hoping to get back to winning ways following two defeats to Celtic in our last two matches.
We face a Dundee side in good form and are currently unbeaten after seven competitive games (all comps).
THE HOSTS
Tony Docherty’s side have continued from where they left off last season and have made an impressive start to their 2024/25 campaign.
The Dee have picked up four points from their opening two league matches, drawing 2-2 with Dundee United on the opening day of the season before beating Hearts 3-1 at Dens Park.
In addition, Dundee have booked their place in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-finals after a convincing 6-1 win over Airdrieonians.
Our record against Dundee during the 2023/24 campaign was positive, picking up seven points out of a possible nine against the Tayside outfit.
TEAM NEWS
Hibs supporters may catch a glimpse of new signing, Hyeokkyu Kwon, for the first time! The 23-year-old joined on loan from Celtic earlier this month but was unable to play against his parent Club last time out.
Nicky Cadden made his debut from the bench at the weekend and could make his first appearance at Easter Road this weekend.
David Gray will provide a full team news update - including the latest on Elie Youan and Junior Hoilett - when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.
