I got Dollar Tree’s $1.25 Bubble Skincare dupes – I’m shocked at how nice they are, the cream’s similar to another brand
FANS of Bubble skincare have rushed to Dollar Tree to pick up dupes of their favorite products.
Among them is a woman who was “shocked” by the quality of the beauty buys and likened the cream to a pricier brand.
Sarah (@the.dollar.goblin) is steadily growing her following on TikTok, where she shares budget-friendly shopping hauls.
She went viral on the social media app when she shared a review of the new Global Beauty Care range at Dollar Tree.
BUDGET BUYS
She described the items that cost $1.25 each as a “dupe” of the skincare products sold by popular brand Bubble for $10 to $40 at Walmart.
“I’m so excited to give this a try, I figured we would do some first impressions together and see how it works,” she said.
“They have a moisturizing daily gel face lotion, which looks pretty interesting.
“It says it has daily essentials to support healthy skincare habits for balanced glowing skin.
“It has cocoa butter, glycerin, aloe.”
Reading the instructions, Sarah discovered that it should be used twice daily to “calm and soothe” skin.
She said the benefits of the range’s Balancing Toner Mist were similar but it has different ingredients.
“Witch hazel is an astringent that helps to purify skin and unclog pores,” she said.
“Tea tree helps clear acne-prone skin with oil control.
“Willow bark helps oil control and minimizes the appearance of pores.”
The manufacturer recommends applying the toner to clean skin in a circular motion until it’s absorbed.
Dollar Tree dupes
Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find dupes of their favorite products
Shoppers found a perfect replica of a $150 set of Pottery Barn plates and bowls. Plus, Dollar Tree has matching mugs.
Dollar Tree also had dupes for the viral Starbucks tumblers.
Customers found dupes for Home Depot’s $39 outdoor solar lights.
Dollar Tree has a dupe for The Pink Stuff cleaning paste, too.
TRIAL AND ERROR
Sarah said the daily face wash contains cucumber, aloe vera, and green tea to hydrate and revitalize the skin while reducing puffiness.
She described the consistency of the product as “gel-like” as she poured it onto her hand.
Having washed her face with it, she was delighted by how clean and fresh it left her skin and said she was “pleasantly surprised” that it didn’t have a smell.
Sarah continued to share her opinions as she applied the toner.
“This is not completely absorbed but I think I sprayed too much on,” she said.
“I really like it, it doesn’t have any kind of scent.
“It feels great on my skin, so far no complaints, I’m really enjoying this line.”
IMPRESSIVE DUPE
Sarah described the daily gel face lotion as having a “thin” consistency similar to hydrogels.
“Wow this is really nice,” she said while rubbing it into her skin.
“I really like this. I think this is going to be part of my new routine especially when my skin is parched.
“It reminds me of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for extra dry skin.”
She said anyone who likes Neutrogena would like the Dollar Tree dupe.
“This set is absolutely amazing,” she said.
“I hope you guys find it.”
Many people liked the video and took to the comment section revealing they were inspired to go shopping.
“Everything looks so amazing,” one person said.
“It’s honestly really nice, I was kind of shocked,” Sarah replied.
“OMG, I want all of these! Thank you so much for the review Sarah,” another commented.
“I’m so jealous, I never find this at any of my Dollar Tree stores,” a third chimed in.
