But in June he shocked fans by announcing he was leaving Neighbours.
And now they’re fearing his demise after he was kidnapped along with Erinsborough resident Melanie.
The pair were tied up in a remote location in the Outback having broken into Heath’s mansion and finding evidence of his and Tess’ embezzlement plans.
Toadie managed to break free and could be seen running across the outback looking for a train line while
But while Melanie – played by Lucinda Cowden – stayed to ensure Holly was OK, the pair were cornered again by Heath.
However, fans watched Toadie collapsed semi-conscious on a freight track as the week drew to a close.
It’s led fans to believe Ryan’s character will ultimately be killed off.
Posting on social media, one said: “Absolutely baffled by todays Neighbours episode. Is McKenzie dead? Is Toadie dead? Are they going to pretend Toadies dead and he rocks up in 10 years? Has there ever been a tv scene where someone died by getting eaten by a crocodile before?”
A second wrote: “What What happened is Toadie still alive?”
“It’s going to be Toadie, isn’t it,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “They can’t kill Toadie off like that surely! It would be exceptionally cruel to make Nell an orphan. Hoping he’ll realise he needs a fresh start away from Ramsey St & the ghosts of his past to go heal & that this is just a chance to give Ryan a good send off.”
Meanwhile, Ryan recently revealed that it wasn’t his decision to leave Ramsay Street.
He told Back To The Bay: “Well, it actually wasn’t my choice. It was their choice.”
