The young woman explained that she couldn’t afford a mortgage, so purchased a cheap camper van from Facebook Marketplace, and now lives in it full time.

As a result of her life on the road, Leah, who is from the US, is able to save money and live debt free.

But the blonde beauty, who often posts about her unique lifestyle on social media, claimed that people aren’t always so kind about her home on wheels.

In a clip that was posted with the caption ‘Who’s been following me since I renovated it?’ Leah showed off the front door of her home and revealed the rude remarks she often receives.

The self-proclaimed ‘camper girl’ explained that trolls will regularly say to her: “You live in a camper, that’s so trashy.”

Not only this, but the content creator, who was initially hesitant about living in a camper, but now sees it as one of the best decisions she has ever made, claimed that others will describe her lifestyle as “so embarrassing.”

In addition to this, the influencer, who is currently residing in Texas, claimed that keyboard warriors will constantly remark: “Stop romanticising camper live.”

And if that wasn’t bad enough, the young woman, who only pays a small parking fee every month, explained that haters will beg her: “Just say you’re homeless.”

But despite the nasty remarks from those that don’t agree with her lifestyle, it’s clear that Leah, who loves living by herself in her “cute and cosy” space, isn’t phased by the rude remarks, as she proudly gave her followers a close-up look inside her pad.

Leah has renovated her campervan, which is now “clutter free and organised” and doesn’t “feel like an RV”.

Not only does her home have a beautiful, large kitchen area, but it’s kitted out with a huge fridge, an oven, sink and microwave, and has plenty of counter and cupboard space.

There’s also a bedroom area, with a double bed and lots of storage.

The Rise Of Van Life

The rise of van life began during the pandemic in 2020. With no one able to leave the country, staycations became popular for many say camping blog venturecampers.

On top of that, the rising cost of renting a house has put many off doing so, especially when wages have failed to keep up with the cost of living crisis.

Although it has gained popularity again, many people opted for van life in the 60s and 70s.

And to finish it off, the space also has a bathroom, with a toilet, sink and shower.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @leah.goodrich, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 228,700 views.

Social media users rushed to the comments to compliment Leah’s home and many told her to ignore the ‘jealous’ haters.

One person said: “You’ve done a beautiful job with your camper and I love the choice you made to do this.”

Is it legal to live in a van?

IF you are looking to live in a van to save money or travel, you'll be pleased to know that there are no UK laws stopping you.

However, you must ensure your vehicle has passed its MOT and is fully road legal.

There could also be restrictions on where you can park up to sleep in your van.

For example, local authorities place restrictions on certain streets or lay-bys, and you could be fined if you spend the night there.

It could also be unsafe to stop in certain locations, particularly at night-time.

Another added: “It’s gorgeous, you did incredible.”

A third commented: “There is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. You are providing for yourself in the best way you can.

“Your home is beautiful and as long as you are happy and safe that’s all that matters.”

Whilst someone else expressed: “I’ve been here! They’re just jealous! Keep doing your thing girl!”
