Population 9: These are the least populated towns in Kansas

KANSAS (KSNT) - Working for you, 27 News dug into data from the U.S. Census Bureau to see which towns had the smallest populations in Kansas.

The Census Bureau keeps track of the populations of cities and incorporated places across the state. In total, there are 626 locations the Census Bureau keeps track of. In Kansas, the city with the smallest population is Waldron City out of Harper County in south-central Kansas.

On the other end, Wichita has the largest population in Kansas with 369,119 residents. In total, the State of Kansas has a population of 2.4 million, a population comparable to Houston, Texas.
