FedEx employee injured in Bronx shooting while on the job, police say

CROTONA PARK, the Bronx (PIX11) -- A FedEx employee was injured in a shooting in the Bronx on Thursday, according to police.

NYPD officers responded to a moped being stolen around 12 p.m. near 950 Jennings St. When police arrived, they found the FedEx employee, 20, with a graze from a bullet on their back, according to officials. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Police said the suspects were described as two people wearing all black with ski masks. They left on foot after failing to steal the moped, which belonged to a building employee working nearby.

PIX11 News reached out for comment from FedEx but did not immediately receive a response.
