Man arrested after Columbus police find woman dead
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Columbus police arrested a man Thursday morning after finding a woman dead in the Northland district.
Officers originally went at 9:19 a.m. to the 2100 block of Yorkhull Lane on a report of domestic violence. When they arrived in the area, they found 32-year-old Mariama Bah unresponsive, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Medics from the Division of Fire pronounced her dead at 9:37 a.m.
CPD said homicide detectives were investigating the specifics of what happened, but did confirm they arrested 55-year-old Hassana Jalloh on a charge of aggravated murder.
