WELCOME, LEWIS JAMIESON!

Raith Rovers Football Club is thrilled to announce the arrival of Lewis Jamieson on loan for the upcoming season, after beating off competition from several Championship rivals who were also eager to add him to their ranks.

Lewis commented, “I’m excited to be here, get started and give everything I’ve got. I pushed for this move to happen so now it’s up to me to do the business.”

John Potter also commented, “We’re really happy to bring Lewis in on loan. It’s been business as usual for us in terms of recruiting players, and our infrastructure is built on a solid foundation that ensures we continue to attract top talent like him.”

22-year-old Lewis began his career with St Mirren’s youth academy at the age of 17.

A natural forward with a keen eye for goal, Lewis quickly caught the attention of coaches and fans with his performances in the youth ranks.

He went on to earn his first senior contract with St Mirren in 2019, making his senior debut during the 2020/21 season, coming on as a late substitute against Rangers at Ibrox.

Since then, he has continued to develop his game, gaining valuable First Team experience during several loan spells.

In March 2021, Lewis joined Clyde on loan, where he showcased his talents in the Scottish third tier.

His time at Clyde was followed by a season-long loan at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Championship, where he notched up three goals in 12 appearances.

Lewis returned to Clyde for a second loan stint in January 2022, contributing crucial performances throughout the remainder of the season.

In July 2022, Lewis joined Airdrie on loan, where he truly made his mark by scoring an impressive eight goals in just 20 appearances. His strong performances there led to a recall by St Mirren in January 2023.

At just 22 years old, Lewis Jamieson brings energy, technical ability, and a strong desire to succeed.

His experience across various levels of Scottish football has given him a good understanding of the game, and his versatility as a forward makes him a valuable addition to our squad.
