But the main event — Kamala Harris’s acceptance of the Democratic nomination, in a speech that seemed far-fetched just a few weeks ago — awaits. Harris has reportedly been intensely focused on her address, which will focus on her biography and themes of American patriotism. Before she speaks, another slate of heavy hitters will sing her praises, including Senator Elizabeth Warren and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
