One dead after officer-involved shooting in Mustang

MUSTANG, Okla. (KFOR) — Authorities say one person is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Mustang Thursday night.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations says the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. when a Mustang Police officer responded to an incident near SW 89th Street and Mustang Road.

OSBI says an officer was involved in the fatal shooting, but was not injured.

The suspect is deceased according to authorities.

There is no other information known at this time.
