Siblings involved in Johnsonville domestic assault

JOHNSONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A domestic assault in Johnsonville lead to a massive police response on Thursday, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office. Police said the assault was between a brother and sister.

The sister was taken to the hospital. Her condition is currently unknown. A massive search took place for the brother, but police said he was located late Thursday night.

Police initially reported the incident as a home invasion but later said the investigation revealed it to be a domestic assault. The investigation is ongoing, and police said they'll share more information as it becomes available.
