Access for All festival coming in September
Cyprus’ annual two-day festival dedicated to the inclusion of people with disabilities is returning to the Old Port of Limassol on September 14 and 15, filling it with a diverse range of activities that welcome… all. From 5.30pm to 9pm on both days, the event will promote equal opportunities and accessibility through a range of events, games and presentations, aiming to address challenges of inclusion and advocate for equality for people with disabilities.
In a packed two-day agenda, the festival’s third edition will feature exciting sports like 3×3 basketball and Paralympic sports to inspiring performances, informative booths, hands-on workshops, a human library, live music, choir performances and crafts.
The Access for All Festival is inspired by the vision of fostering equal coexistence, interaction, co-creation, and collaboration between able-bodied individuals and those with disabilities. Organised by RESET, the CSI Center for Social Innovation, and Cyprus 3X3, its mission is to raise public awareness and inform policymakers and professionals about inclusion, participation, accessibility and the fundamental rights of people with disabilities at local and regional levels, ultimately improving their quality of life.
