A synopsis reads: “In the heart of London, an anonymous phone call draws two brilliant detectives – a young woman in the early stages of her career and a well connected man determined to protect his legacy – into a fight to correct an old miscarriage of justice.”
Series one launched on the streamer in January, with eight episodes.
In the second season, June is on the scene as a senior officer as a political rally faces an attack from far-right counter protesters.
The ensuing violent clash results in a young man’s death – and a guilt-ridden June is desperate to bring the unknown killer to justice.
Daniel may be her best hope, now being a key figure in the mysterious world of police intelligence.
While he possibly the answers June needs, she will have to accept a dangerous bargain to get his help.

The 38-year-old is also well-known to Vera viewers for her role as DC Bethany Whelan.
