Show bosses announced that Morning Live would be on a break for another month after it already disappeared for three weeks during its regular summer hiatus.

Now it has been revealed that the breakfast talk show will be back on Monday, August 26.

Presenters Gethin JonesHelen Skelton, and Michelle Ackerley took advantage of having some time away from work to go for a sporty day out together in the Lake District.

The hard-working hosts shared some snaps of their adventures outside of the studio on social media.

In a heartwarming post from Gethin, he wrote, “Perfect few days with these gems! We walked, talked, swam, paddled, ate, drank, ate, ran, swam, played football, rugby and some other games that haven’t been named yet!”

In one photo the show hosts could be seen donning life jackets in preparation for a boat trip.

Another showed them sitting in a kayak gearing up for a morning out on the lake.

Helen’s daughter Elsie could be seen riding on Gethin’s shoulders in one of the pictures.

Meanwhile viewers tuning in to This Morning during Morning Live’s hiatus were left in stitches at a guest’s reaction to British food yesterday.

American singer LeAnn was seen gagging on Bovril before making a disgusted face and putting the mug down firmly.

She also nearly choked on a Scotch egg and had to be offered some water by host Joel Dommett.
