Tottenham face Everton in North London on Saturday

Tottenham head into the fixture on the back of the disappointing outing at Leicester City on Monday evening where they failed to make their dominance count.

Yves Bissouma was suspended by the club for the trip to the King Power Stadium after uploading footage of himself on social media inhaling laughing gas.

Rodrigo Bentancur suffered a sickening head injury during the second half of the 1-1 draw when he clashed heads with Abdul Fatawu leaving the Uruguayan requiring lengthy treatment and subsequently left on a stretcher and received oxygen.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs first-team squad ahead of the clash against Sean Dyche’s side.

Both sides are looking for their first victory of the campaign when they meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Everton suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton last weekend.

Postecoglou said: “Dom picked up a knock in the last game. He got through the game but it flared up the day after and he’ll miss the game tomorrow. “It’s an ankle injury, he copped it really early on, someone went across his ankle.

“It just depends on his recovery [when he returns], obviously we’ve got the international break. but it’s not serious.”

The draw at Leicester City was a frustrating watch, especially in the second half and Tottenham cannot afford to lack the same composure in front of goal tomorrow afternoon.

It will be interesting to see whether Postecoglou brings Archie Gray or Lucas Bergvall into the middle of the park, while Dejan Kulusevski surely has to be in line to start after Brennan Johnson’s disappointing performance on the right-hand side of the front three.

As for the Dominic Solanke news, as Tottenham fans – what do we expect!
