Man pistol-whipped while sitting in car during Bronx vehicle theft: NYPD

WILLIAMSBRIDGE, the Bronx (PIX11) – A man was attacked while sitting in his car, which was stolen in the Bronx on Aug. 11, according to the NYPD.

It happened near East 222nd Street and White Plains Road in Williamsbridge around 5:30 a.m. The 24-year-old man was approached by two suspects while he was in his car, per police.

The suspects then took out a gun and pistol-whipped the victim multiple times in the face, according to authorities. They then allegedly stole the car and drove off to parts unknown.

The victim sustained facial injuries and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.
