'So much fun': Morning Joe panel relishes Trump 'losing it' after Kamala Harris speech

Former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill on Friday was openly gleeful about seeing former President Donald Trump's furious reaction to Vice President Kamala Harris's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.

During an analysis of the speech on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," McCaskill noted how parts of Harris's speech were seemingly designed to draw angry attacks from the former president.

"Watching him shrink -- she knows how to get under his skin," she said. "It is so much fun to watch her get to him. He was losing it last night! And you can tell by the way he acted, you can tell by what he tweeted. I'm here with my popcorn and Diet Coke to watch that."

After Harris's speech, Trump called into Fox News and went on an angry tirade that appeared to include him accidentally pressing phone buttons that made beeping noises throughout the interview.

Among other things, Trump falsely claimed that Harris "didn't talk about housing" and other key issues in her speech when in reality she talked about them repeatedly.

Trump also insisted that "She's not having success, I'm having success."

Trump rambled on for such a long time that Fox News anchor Bret Baier eventually had to cut him off.
