2024 dates announced for short film festival
Festival season in Cyprus seems to be never-ending. A new season of annual happenings is in the works, ready to launch new editions in the autumn. Come October, a beloved and long-established festival will return to the heart of Limassol.
The dates for the 14th International Short Film Festival Cyprus have been set for October 12 to 18. A whole week of film screenings and parallel events await at Rialto Theatre, which is a co-organiser of the festival along with the education ministry’s cultural services. Short films will compete in the main competition programme while a series of site-specific events in collaboration with local artists will take place around town, aiming to integrate event more artforms into the festival.
The festival always culminates with an awards ceremony for winning national and international films, selected by the ISFFC Jury which is comprised every year of five established international and Cypriot film professionals, academics, festival directors and short film programmers.
