Sabrina Carpenter Tries to Kill Jenna Ortega in 'Taste' Music Video, But It's Their Kiss That Has Everyone Talking - Watch Now!

Sabrina Carpenter just released her new music video for “Taste” and fans are loving the video – which features Jenna Ortega in a co-starring role.

The 25-year-old singer and actress released her new album, Short n’ Sweet on Friday (August 23) to widely positive reviews.

If you don’t know, both Jenna and Sabrina got their start on the Disney Channel with Sabrina starring in Girl Meets World, while Jenna was the lead of Stuck in the Middle. Seeing two Disney stars go from that image to a camp-slasher music video isn’t something that was expected, but was very much needed!

Sabrina opens the video by singing a familiar lullaby, only to change up the words to, “Rockabye baby, snug in your bed. Right now you are sleeping and soon you’ll be… dead.”

When the video begins, Sabrina sneaks up into the bedroom of her lover only to find another girl in bed with him. Sabrina assumes the woman in bed is Jenna, but it’s just a decoy! Sabrina attacks a lifeless figure, only to be tricked by Jenna. A murderous rampage ensues.

The rest of the video seems to pay homage to the cult classic film, Death Becomes Her. Sabrina and Jenna spend the song trying to brutally injure and/or kill each other, only for it to end with the death of the man between them.

The best part? After the funeral of the beloved boyfriend, Sabrina and Jenna walk off giggling about how “clingy” he was and repeating the phrase, “Lots of trauma,” to each other.

One big moment in the video showcases Jenna and Sabrina sharing a passionate kiss, before once again attempting to kill one another.
