Strictly fans convinced they have worked out TWO of this year’s pairings ahead of new series launch
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are convinced they’ve worked out two of this year’s pairings ahead of the new series.
There’s just weeks to go until the 20th anniversary series of Strictly kicks off and the celebrity line-up was recently revealed.
Now fans think they’ve worked out which professional dancers two of the famous faces will be competing with.
Among those taking part are comedian Chris McCausland and X Factor winner Shayne Ward.
Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Chris replied to a fan predicting he will be paired up with Lauren Oakley.
He wrote: “If it was, we’d have to do some Black Sabbeth.”
Writing on social media, one fan pointed out: “Lauren’s from Birmingham, like Ozzy [Osbourne].”
Many also think that Shayne will be dancing with Luba Mushtuk, who was paired with Adam Thomas last year – insisting he’s too tall to team up with Nadiya Bychkova.
Sharing their reason, one person said: “I think Shayne is around the same height as Adam Thomas. So no rules would be “broken” for that pairing.”
Another celeb taking part in the upcoming series is JLS singer JB Gill, who has been forced to hit back at claims he has an unfair advantage after starring in the 2012 Christmas special.
While speaking to MailOnline about his dancer wife Chloe‘s reaction to his Strictly news, JB explained: “She’s can’t wait to offer advice which I’m very grateful for because I’m not a trained dancer.
“I’ll be able to hear from her and work alongside my pro with. She can’t wait for the journey to start just like I am.”
Also in 2017, JB appeared alongside Chloe in ITV show Dance Dance Dance, with the couple finishing up in third place.
