Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega Seek Bloody Revenge While Wearing Amina Muaddi Heels In ‘Taste’ Music Video

Sabrina Carpenter tapped scream queen Jenna Ortega to star alongside her in the new blood-soaked music video for her song “Taste,” in which the the young stars fight over a boy. The campy video showcases Carpenter and Ortega violently attacking each other, all the while looking glamorous in high heels. See below for photos of the fancy footwear featured in Carpenter’s latest music video, which was released alongside her new album “Short n’ Sweet.”

In an early scene, Ortega shoots Carpenter off of a terrace while the boyfriend in question looks on in horror. Ortega’s character executes the attack in a pair of metallic light gold pumps. The shiny shoes feature a sizable platform and an ultra-high block heel, creating an attention-grabbing look that elevates a skirt and top ensemble.

Metallic pumps are a popular trend in women’s footwear right now, and have been sported by other prominent names in entertainment like Kate Upton and Brie Larson.

Having been impaled by a fence after her fall, an aerial shot shows Carpenter’s full outfit, including glossy light blue pumps with a thin strap across the front of the foot. These razor sharp shoes complemented a darker blue top and black capri pants.

Now in need of medical attention, Carpenter is at a hospital wearing a completely different outfit. She’s switched into a light pink dress with white polka dots, pairing this with tights and the sold out bold pink platform pumps from Amina Muaddi. Known as the Yigit pump, the $1,335 satin shoe features a 150 mm stiletto heel and a thin strap that buckles around the ankle. The brand also sells a black version of the Yigit pump.

By the end of the video, it’s the boyfriend who becomes the victim and suffers a brutal death. Leaving his funeral, both girls are wearing black gowns and black pumps as they commiserate over his negative qualities. Ortega has on Jimmy Choo Max platform sandals, which include a curved strap across the toes and a slender strap around the ankle.
