India launches its 1st reusable hybrid rocket 'RHUMI-1'
India has launched its first reusable hybrid rocket, RHUMI-1, developed by Tamil Nadu-based start-up Space Zone India in collaboration with Martin Group. The launch took place in Thiruvidandhai, Chennai, on Saturday. The rocket, which carried three Cube Satellites and 50 PICO Satellites, was sent into a suborbital trajectory using a mobile launcher. These satellites will collect data for research on global warming and climate change.
