A CULT favorite with a steep price tag may have met its match.
A daughter revealed that her mother found the perfect dupe for a much more expensive body spray.
Redditor Milkinashoe posted about their mom’s Dollar Tree buy in a post on Reddit.
“I got the Sol de Janeiro 62 Pistachio and Salted Caramel Hair and Body Fragrance Mist as a gift, and though I haven’t used it yet, I think it smells awesome,” she said.
“I didn’t know until after I got it that it was as coveted as it is, nor did I know the price.”
Later on, she found out that her mother had made a trip to Dollar Tree, buy’
“My mom comes home after visiting the dollar store with an exact dupe,” she said.
“It does have aerosol, and like I said, I’ve never actually worn the original so I don’t know how they compare in terms of longevity, but it smells the exact same at the price of $1.25.”
The daughter revealed the name of the Dollar Tree dupe.
“It’s the Power Stick for her Body Spray in Brazilian Mist, she got it from Dollar Tree,” she revealed.
“Also, as far as I’m aware it’s not a deodorant or anything like that, just felt like mentioning that because it could seem that way because it’s by Power Stick.”
