Tripura floods- Crops, electrical assets worth over Rs 707 crore damaged

Floods and landslides since August 19 have led to severe destruction in Tripura, according to Minister Ratan Lal Nath. The disaster killed at least 26 people and caused damage worth over Rs 707.41 crore. Crops on nearly 68,826 hectares were destroyed, affecting 1,41,406 farmers. Electrical infrastructure also suffered significant losses.
