Nationals place CF Alex Call (foot) on injured list

The Washington Nationals placed center fielder Alex Call on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a foot injury, while catcher Drew Millas was recalled from Triple-A Rochester.

Call, 29, was diagnosed with a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his left foot.

In 30 games this season, Call was batting .343 with a .425 on-base percentage and had three home runs with 14 RBIs.
