Ant Anstead’s Super-Rare Tribute to GF Renée Zellweger Gives a Glimpse Into How Their Relationship Is Today
While Christina Hall is busy wrestling with husband number three in divorce court, her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, seems to be living the dream with his girlfriend of three years, Renée Zellweger. Anstead, who was briefly married to Hall — known for sharing every aspect of her life, including the latest during her divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall — has seemingly found his romantic rhythm with the Oscar-winning actress.
For those unfamiliar, Anstead and Hall had a whirlwind romance, a move that some sources close to Hall claim has become something of a habit for the HGTV star. The two started dating at the end of 2017, and once her first divorce from Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa was finalized at the beginning of 2018, she and Anstead went public with their relationship. The two said “I Do” in December 2018 and welcomed their son in September 2019.
Their split in April 2022 led to an intense custody battle with Anstead seeking full custody, citing Hall’s limited involvement. Despite some difficult moments, they eventually agreed on joint custody. Following Hall’s divorce from her third husband, she re–followed Anstead on social media, which some saw as a potential hiccup for his and Zellweger’s future. However, sources refuted the claims, saying that just because the two don’t share every kiss and sweet nothing on social media, Zellweger and Anstead remain more than solid.
Anstead began dating Zellweger in June 2021 after meeting on the set of Celebrity IOU Joyride, one of the shows Anstead was a host on. The two have remained relatively private, especially compared to how much of his life he was sharing on Hall’s various shows like Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country. Still, the British TV host has made the rare public shoutout to Zellweger in the past and have been spotted enjoying their quiet romance a handful of times by paparazzi.
“Oh man……..she’s so beautiful!” the British TV personality wrote alongside a poster image for Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy on his Instagram Stories Aug. 23. “That’s my Ren (lucky boy),” he wrote, punctuating his love note with a heart eyes emoji, per E Online.
While Zellweger isn’t active on social media, her occasional appearances on Anstead’s account give fans a peek into their sweet romantic life — one that has been built in private and is likely to stay that way.
